Zero emissions touring
From the shop the route heads out Beckmans Road and Cooroy Noosa Road and climbs Gyndier Drive, the car free hill Noosa Triathlon racers know as Garmin Hill. Sunrise Road and Tinbeerwah Road take you on up to the Mt Tinbeerwah lookout, then it is back down the range to Tewantin.
From Tewantin the route runs north on McKinnon Drive, with a quieter detour through Lake Cooroibah Road, Jirrima Crescent, Woodhaven Way and Illoura Place, then along Louis Bazzo Drive to Boreen Point, a small village on the shore of Lake Cootharaba. After a loop of the village it heads home a different way, on Lake Flat Road, Cootharaba Road and Junction Road through quiet farmland, back to Louis Bazzo Drive.
The return follows McKinnon Drive and the back streets of Cooroibah into Tewantin and home to the shop. It is 71 km with about 640 m of climbing, most of it in the first 20 km, on sealed roads that are narrow in places with little or no shoulder, so it suits confident riders who are comfortable riding with traffic.

We load GPS maps with spoken directions onto your phone, so please bring it fully charged. Phone holders are provided, or we can load maps onto most GPS devices.
For MTB routes, universal phone mounts are not suitable. Quad Lock mounts are available if you have a compatible case, or phones with Quad Lock cases can be rented.
You can start whenever suits you from 8:30am and don't need to nominate a start time, but you'll need to be back by 4pm, so we wouldn't recommend setting off any later than 12pm.
Yes, free street parking is available at our start location.
Helmets, locks and water bottles come with every bike. Phone mounts are included too, except on our mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes, where a universal mount is not safe to use off road.
Baskets come fitted to our cruisers, e-cruisers and fat bikes.
Gel seats and riding backpacks are also available free on request. Just ask when you book, or when you pick up.
One GPS map is included per booking.
One booking covers your whole group. Maps are set up in store on the day, and anyone in your group can also download the app ahead of time from the link in your booking confirmation email.
